Just a quick note!

Just wanted to let you know that there will be a blog hop happening at WeScrap October 28th to 30th. There will be tricks and treats, and scrappy prizes too, of course! You can find all the details on the forum here.

There's also a mystery sketch going on at
Let's Capture Our Memories. Every day, a new element of the sketch is revealed, and you build your layout little by little. The first three days are up, but you still have time to easily catch up. I haven't taken pictures of my layout after each step, but I'm liking how it looks so far. Looking forward to see what's coming on day 4! If you'd like to join in, you can find all the information here on the forum (you might need to register though in order to see it).

Happy scrapping!

A New Layout and Some News!

Hi!

I made this layout for a challenge at
WeScrap for their Fabulous Fall Contest (the one where the grand prize is a Vagabond machine! what are you waiting for? go sign in here, it's not too late! there are always new ways to win some ballots!)

It was an "All About You" challenge. It's based on this sketch by
Sassy Lil' Sketches. My title is "Beach Girl?" because I think I'm starting to like the beach, even though I've always said that I'm not a beach girl! The pictures were taken this summer at Ogunquit Beach, in Maine.

Don't forget that you have four more days to participate in the
Sassy Lil' Send Off! You have eight sketches to choose from, and eight chances to win one of those wonderful Sassy Lil' Sketches e-book!

And my news... I am a "Queen of Crap"! lol! I'm going to be part of a new DT called "
Scrap Your Crap"! (How appropriate is that for me, with my overflowing scrap room! ;) I love their blinkie! ha ha!

There will be one challenge a month, starting in November, on the 15th of every month. I hope you'll join us and see what Greta and Kim have up their sleeves for you! And go check out the rest of the DT! Lots of talent over there!!

A Chance to Win a Vagabond! and Two New Layouts

Hi!

Check out the
Fabulous Fall Contest that is going on at WeScrap! It's ongoing until October 28th, and on the 31st, a Vagabond machine will be randomly given to a lucky winner! Challenges are issued every Monday, and there are many opportunities to win bonus ballots along the way! If you want to join in the fun, sign up on the WeScrap forum then post in this thread, and mention that I referred you. You'll be getting an extra ballot just for doing this! It's a great contest, an amazing prize, and lots of fun too!

I've completed two LOs so far for the contest. The first one was a scraplift (from "Kimmer"). That's my cat Câlin, who takes the cutest poses when he sleeps!

For the second one, we needed to use fall colors (yellow, orange, rust...). It's about the beautiful architecture of Trinidad, Cuba.

I hope you'll join us for some fun challenges and the chance to win an awesome prize at
WeScrap!

My Last Sassy Reveal!

I'm a bit sad to share today my last reveal with Sassy Lil' Sketches... As always, we had a great sketch from Cherie to play with!

Here's my layout. It's the Conservatory in Seattle's Volunteer Park. It's this amazingly beautiful victorian glass house, with all sorts of gorgeous plants inside, from orchids to cactus and palm trees!

To switch up the sketch, I made a large, square mosaic of photos (with Picasa) instead of using four square pictures. I also put the title up top, changed the position of some of the embellies, and wrote my journaling around the page to make it fit.

I hope you play along with us this month! It's your last chance! And don't forget that there will be 8
Sassy Lil' Sketches e-books up for grabs! Don't let that chance get away!

Happy scrapping!
