Head on over to Sassy Lil' Sketches to check out their first official sketch! It's the one I got to play with for my first reveal!
This is the sketch. I love all the layers!
And here's my version. I adapted it a bit, as I always tend to add more photos on my layouts (the result of taking way too many pictures on our trips! ;)
I called it "I think I died and went to Hydrangea heaven" because that's exactly what it felt like during our trip to the UK last summer! I love hydrangeas and really wanted to plant some when we did the landscaping in our tiny little backyard last spring. But there just wasn't enough room so I had to settle for some other bushes. But they are all over the place in the UK, in people's front yards, on castle grounds, along roads... And they are gorgeous!! So colorful and vibrant! I loved it! The top photo is actually a "valley of hydrangeas" in a huge subtropical garden in Cornwall. It was breathtaking! I'm so glad we visited when it was in bloom!
So, go over to Sassy Lil' Sketches to check out what the rest of the team did. I hope you'll play along and create a page with this lovely sketch! I'd love to see what you'll come up with! And because I'm excited about my first reveal, and in honor of hydrangeas all over the world ( ;) lol!), I'm offering up this little flowery RAK.
Just complete the sketch, and post a comment with a link to your LO on Sassy Lil' Sketches and right here on my blog, and I'll enter your name for a random drawing of these flowers and flower centers. I'll pick the winner on March 7th, the day of my 2nd reveal. Happy scrapping!
