It's time for a new sketch and reveal at Sassy Lil' Sketches! Here's the fun sketch we had to work with, by the talented Cherie Averill.
And here's my take on it. The title means "Looking for Nessie at Loch Ness". As I often do, I substituted one of the 4x6 for two smaller pics (always trying to fit more trip pictures on my LOs!)
I have to admit that I bought the "Archaic" BG paper pack just with this LO in mind! lol! I have a thing for BG paper packs, but I never had a "reason" to buy Archaic, since I don't scrap little boy LOs and had no use for dinosaur pp and die-cuts. Well, last spring, during an online sale of paper packs at Love Is In The Details (I can't resist a good sale! ;), I realized that I would be going to Scotland and visiting Loch Ness. Can't scrap the Loch Ness without talking about Nessie... There was my perfect excuse for buying the Archaic line! ;) A year after buying it, here's my first LO using it!
I also needed two capital "N"s, but only had one in the alpha stickers in the paper pack. So I used the one N, then cut out its outline and used that for the N in "Nessie". Like how that turned out.
Well, hope you enjoy the sketch and my LO, as well as the other ones created by the rest of the DT. Go check it out here and give it a try!
(Oh, and if you're wondering, we didn't catch a glimpse of the real Nessie while we were there, despite our "deep scan" boat tour! Had to settle for the fake one on land! But we got a good chuckle out of it! ;)
