Here's my latest layout, done for the Scrapping with the Stars contest at Let's Capture Our Memories. Part of the challenge was to mat everything in black cardstock, something I had never done before. I really admired Georgia Keays' beautiful layouts with black matting, so I was excited to give it a try! Now I don't think I would do this on every layout, but I definitely like the way it turned out, and it wasn't as time consuming as I thought it would be! It's a page about my parents' 50th wedding anniversary last summer and is for the album that I'm slowly completing for them!

Looks like it is going to be a wonderful album, and such a great page!
I have been wanting to do a layout using black cardstock for matting. I think it's a great challenge!
